Purulia case: Pranab questions need of judicial probe

Rubbishing the demand of a probe in the Purulia arms drop case, Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee today questioned the motives of opposition parties' demands for judicial enquiry into the matter. While talking to mediapersons in the Kolkata on Saturday, Mukherjee said that the incident happened when there was a non-Congress government at the centre. Mukherjee also stated that the CBI was probing the matter and would soon come out with the results.
