Rafale jets purchase not delayed due to budget cuts: AK Antony

Defense Minister AK Antony today said that the purchase of French Rafale fighter jets were not delayed because of India's budget cuts this year. Antony also stressed that any immediate operational necessity of the armed forces would not be sacrificed because of any lack of funds. The 9th edition of the Aero India Show, inaugerated by Antony took off in Bangalore, earlier in the day. Dassault Aviation is showcasing three planes which will try and woo the Indian officials and decision makers over the next five days.
