Rahat Fateh Ali Khan slapped Rs 15 lakh fine

Pakistani singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and his manager Maroof Ali have been fined Rs 15 lakh each for carrying undeclared foreign currency. Khan and his manager have been charged under Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA) and customs act for carrying over $ 1 lakh undeclared while boarding a flight from Delhi to Dubai last week. They will have to pay the fine immediately to have Khan's money, passport and other documents returned.
