Rubber estate doubles up as a burial ground for jumbos

Abraham Thomas's rubber estate located in Kerala has doubled up as an elephant graveyard. It was out of his love for the jumbos and the belief that the carcass of a dead elephant should not be left to rot in the open that he decided to keep a portion of his estate as the burial ground for elephants. Elephants are deeply revered in India and are also considered lucky.
