SC to hear Nandy's plea seeking quashing of FIR against him

The Supreme Court on Thursday agreed to hear sociologist Ashis Nandy's plea seeking quashing of the FIR lodged against him. The court will hear his plea on Friday. Nandy moved the apex court seeking protection from being arrested for allegedly making anti-Dalit remarks at the Jaipur Literature Festival.
