Victims who were arrested under Section 66A by law for social media posts welcomed the Supreme Court's decision of striking down the 'unconstitutional' section. Victim in Palghar case, Renu Srinivasan said that unless there is nothing abusive people should be free to express themselves. Victim in Jadavpur University Case, who was arrested for posting cartoons of West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee, also welcomed the decision. The minor victim who was arrested in Azam Khan's FB post row also thanked the Supreme Court for passing such a historical verdict.
