Sheikh Hasina to sign pacts on combating terrorism, poverty

Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, who is in India for a three-day state visit, met Prime Minster Manmohan Singh who welcomed his Bangladeshi counterpart at the presidential palace, Rashtrapati Bhawan. Acknowledging India's unfailing support to her nation and importantly in Bangladesh's struggle for liberation, Hasina said that the two countries would discuss steps towards defeating their common enemy poverty.
