Shinde assures safety of northeast people in Karnataka

Union home minister Sushil Kumar Shinde on Thursday in New Delhi said that all kind of protection will be provided to the people of the northeast as they decided to return to their hometown after rumours had spread across Bangalore through messages and mails that they could face attacks as a reaction to riots in Assam.
