Skiing competition in Himachal draws huge response

Thousands turned up for skiing competition held in Himachal Pradesh after nearly twenty years. Last year, snow sports were organised in Solang Nala, 17 km from Manali and it was here that the committee decided to include the snow sports in Winter Carnival 2009. The Winter Carnival also had a bonus for the visitors this year in the form of skiing activities besides a cultural programme.
