Slipper thrown at Kalmadi on the way to court

Scam-hit Suresh Kalmadi was assaulted as he was being taken to the Patiala House court in Delhi today. A person tried to throw a slipper at him.The man who threw the slipper was immediately detained and was taken away for questioning. Kalmadi, who is being produced in court today after being arrested yesterday by the CBI for alleged corruption, did not lose his smile through the incident.
