Sniffer dogs get retirement plan

Ponni and Oscar, the two gold medalist dogs would now lead a peaceful life in the same home, where they were brought up and trained. They will not be facing an uncertain future like their previous colleagues post retirement as the Tamil Nadu government has launched a new retirement plan for their highly trained dogs. These highly trained and now retired sniffer dogs of the Chennai police elite dog squad are the first ones under the new scheme .
