Tamil Nadu Film industry stages fast, shuts down for Jayalalithaa

The Tamil Nadu film industry will not showcase any movie today across theatres in the state while members of Tamil Film Exhibitors Association will go on a hunger strike to show support for the former Chief Minister. MLA and Tamil film actor Sarath Kumar also demanded that the AIADMK chief be shifted to a prison in Tamil Nadu.
