Telangana: Bandh in coastal, southern Andhra Pradesh

A day-long bandh has been called across coastal and southern Andhra Pradesh to protest the decision of Congress party to form separate state of Telangana by bifurcating Andhra Pradesh. In coastal and southern regions of the state, government run busses are off the roads; schools and business establishments are also closed.
