Terrorism is an issue of global importance: Patil

President Pratibha Devisingh Patil, while inaugurating the two-day International Conference of Jurists on Terrorism in capital New Delhi on Saturday, marked terrorism as an issue of global importance. The prime focus of the conference, which drew delegates from a various professional backgrounds, would be on legal responses to the problem of cross-border terrorism and to create a safe, secure and prosperous world for the present generation.
