Terrorist attack: BJP walkouts from J&K House

Srinagar, March 14 (ANI): Wednesday's fidayeen attack on a Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) camp in Bemina area of Srinagar, which left five CRPF personnel dead and seven injured, was the topic of heated uproar in the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly on Thursday. Members of the BJP and Jammu-based opposition parties, National Panthers Party [NPP] and Jammu State Morcha were baton charged by security personal, following their walkout from the assembly. Earlier, opposition leaders raised high-pitch slogans condemning the “anti-national” legislators and political parties in the state. Holding the Kashmir-based political parties responsible for “glorification of terror” and demanding dismissal of the Omar Abdullah government, opposition parties then staged a walk-out in the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly.
