Trade Union strike semi successful

While normal life has been disrupted in Kerala, Maharashtra, West Bengal has remained largely unaffected. Madhya Pradesh and Jharkhand have seen a mixed response. ESMA has been invoked in Delhi. Public transport employees have not joined the strike. Tight security is in place to prevent untoward incidents.
