TRS MLAs stall assembly over Telangana

Telangana Rashtra Samiti MLAs forced adjournment of the proceedings of Andhra Pradesh Assembly after the first day of the winter session commenced on Friday, demanding separate Telangana state. Meanwhile, TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu, said that the government must do something to address the problems of the farmers. Nadendla Manohar, speaker of the assembly for the winter session, tried to calm the legislators, as the demands grew fierce in the assembly. The assembly has been adjourned twice since morning for 15 minutes each.
