Two security personnel killed in gun battle with Maoists

Two security personnel of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) were killed and four others critically injured after indulging in a gun battle with Maoists in Khunti district of Jharkhand. Interacting with reporters, Inspector General of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Ranchi, D. K. Pandey said that the injured are being treated. Recently, Maoists have been trying to strengthen their base by rounding up school children and confiscating their educational certificates and compelling them to join the group.
