UAE to send 12 planes on Libya mission: Sarkozy

French President Nicolas Sarkozy on Friday appealed for 'Libyans of goodwill'to abandon Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi. Sarkozy said members of the Council of Transition, tribes leaders and other personalities would all be welcome to take part in 'the rebuilding of Libya'. The president also announced the United Arab Emirates would contribute 12 planes to the coalition force, significantly increasing Arab participation in the campaign.
