Uma Bharti slams Mayawati over law and order in UP

Taking a dig at UP chief minister Mayawati, Bharatiya Janata Party leader Uma Bharti on Friday slammed the state government over the mysterious death of Deputy Chief Medical Officer Yogendra Singh Sachan. Criticizing the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) led state government Bharti accused Mayawati of covering up the matter, as its top brass are involved in that. Meanwhile, Uma Bharti, who rejoined BJP earlier this month, after five years when she was expelled from the party, said the main agenda for the upcoming state assembly elections would be corruption and increasing crime in the state.
