Uma supports Gujjars

Chief of Bharatiya Janshakti Party, Uma Bharti is on an indefinite hunger strike to support the cause of the Gujjars demanding scheduled tribe status. The firebrand leader, accompanied by scores of Gujjar activists, tried to enter enter Bayana town in Rajasthan to meet the Gujjar leader Kirorimal Bainsla to extend support to the stir. But Rajasthan Police stopped her at the border.
