US supports dialogue between India and Pakistan

United States wants India and Pakistan to resume peace talks, but would leave it to the two countries to decide the way forward. William Burns, Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs of US, presently on a visit to India said this while speaking to the media persons in New Delhi on Thursday. Burns also noted that Pakistan has a special responsibility to act immediately to bring to justice perpetrators behind Mumbai terror attacks.
