Women in Tamil Nadu are becoming self dependent

A voluntary organisation in Krishnagiri in Tamil Nadu is helping women to sell homemade milk sweets in the market and even in various public and private offices,to earn their livelihood. And the best part is that they can appropriate the profits earned among them. Commonly called as Palkova in the region, the sweets prepared from milk is selling not only among locals but it has buyers in adjoining Coimbatore, Erode and Bangalore too, thus making the women from self help group earn a small fortune each day.
