Indian Army on the hunt for 800 LAMVs | TATA & Mahindra likely contenders

The Indian Army recently initiated the process of procuring approximately 800 LAMVs. Intended use by reconnaissance troops in mechanised infantry & armoured units. The usage will also include carriage of weapons, ammunition & communication. TATA & Mahindra offer armored vehicles, Ashok Leyland & Bharat Forge likely contenders too.
