Israel War: Iran Army's Elite 'Quds Force' Chief Contacts Hamas After Khamenei's 'Won't Fight' Snub

Amid intensifying war in Gaza, the top commander of Iran's Quds force reportedly wrote a letter to Hamascommander Mohammed Deif. Esmail Qaani in the letter reportedly said Iran will do “whatever it takes” to help Hamas in its war with Israel. Deif is considered one of the chief masterminds of 'operation Al Aqsa flood' - the Oct 7 attack. However, Qaani refrained from stating clearly whether Tehran will directly join the war.
