Kremlin's firebrand torches West on camera for Distorting Putin’s remarks on possible nuclear tests

Russian presidential spokesperson Dmitri Peskov accused Western media of “twisting” President Vladimir Putin’s statements and fueling what he called “military anti-Russian hysteria”, during a briefing in Moscow. Peskov said that despite Russia’s repeated clarifications, the reaction from Western outlets remains “overly emotional." He also criticised NATO, claiming the alliance simultaneously refuses to listen to Russia while insisting it cannot understand Moscow’s position. When asked about the upcoming C5+1 summit in the United States — involving Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan — Peskov downplayed concerns, calling such regional formats “widely practiced.”
