A glimpse of the India Runway Week 2019

<p>The Indian Federation for Fashion Development (IFFD) hosted the eleventh season of India Runway Week at The DLF Place Saket, New Delhi. The event took place from March 29- March 31, 2019. At the event, we spoke to some of the models about fashion and style and who their favourites are. IRW opened with the designs of veteran designer Rina Dhaka. Some of the other designers who were part of the 3-day show were Javik Nari, Laxmishriali, Yajy by Aditya Jain, Madhulika Mehta and Amit Talwwar.</p>

Pinkathon 2018 in Delhi was a grand celebration with Milind Soman

<p>The Pinkathon started by Milind Soman is like a celebration that goes on, and its sixth edition took place in Delhi on September 23. There were over 10,000 women in pink, from youngsters to those in their late 70s, including a team of visually impaired girls, hearing impaired girls, cancer survivors and mothers with their babies. And then of course, there is 102-year-old Mann Kaur, who earlier this month won a gold medal at the World Masters Athletics Championships in Malaga, Spain, sitting inside the VIP enclosure with her 80-year old son Guru Dev. Outside on the stage where prizes are being distributed, a cheerful choreographer dances to pulsating music on stage, and the crowd comprising the runners are more than happy to follow his moves.</p>

Milind Soman on running barefoot, eating insects and mid-life crisis

<p>The sixth edition of Bajaj Electricals Pinkathon Delhi 2018 in Delhi took place on September 23 in which 10,000 women took part, from youngsters to those in their late 70s, including a team of visually impaired girls, hearing impaired girls, cancer survivors and mothers with their babies. The man behind this whole movement, Milind Soman spoke to us about Pinkathon, why he prefers barefoot running, eating insects and more. On July 19, 2015, he completed the Ironman Triathlon in Zurich, that required a person to do a 3.8-km swim, a 180.2-km cycle ride and a 42.2-km run, which had to be finished without a break in 16 hours, to get the title of Ironman. 50-year old Milind completed it in 15 hours and 19 minutes.</p>

Piyush Mishra: ‘Won’t sing Husna until Pakistan addresses terrorism’

Mishra said lately during concerts fans have requested him to sing his famous song Husna but he has politely refused. </p>

Karl Lagerfeld, Chanel and Fendi’s creative director dead at 85

<p>Chanel's iconic couturier, Karl Lagerfeld, whose accomplished designs as well as trademark white ponytail, high starched collars and dark enigmatic glasses dominated high fashion for the past 50 years, has died. He was around 85 years old.</p><p>Such was the enigma surrounding the German-born designer that even his age was a point of mystery for decades, with reports he had two birth certificates, one dated 1933 and the other 1938. In 2013, Lagerfeld told French magazine Paris Match he was born in 1935, but in 2019 his assistant still didn't know the truth — telling AP he liked “to scramble the tracks on his year of birth — that's part of the character.”</p>
