PM Modi visits Ahmedabad post landslide win in LS polls

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday visited Gujarat and paid tribute to Sardar Patel statue in Ahmedabad. This was the Prime Minister's first visit to his home state after the Bharatiya Janata Party's massive victory in the 2019 Lok Sabha polls. In his first rally post the landslide win, PM Modi stressed the need to remain humble and said the 'big mandate brings big responsibilities'. BJP-led NDA swept LS elections by winning 349 of the 542 seats.
