PM Modi blames Congress for coining ‘Hindu terrorism’

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while addressing an election rally in Maharashtra's Wardha, alluded to the recent Samjhauta Express blast verdict to criticise the Congress. Modi said that the verdict proved that the Congress had farcically labelled a peaceful community, the Hindus, as terrorists. Modi said that this was the reason that the Opposition party was fearful of contesting elections in Hindu-majority areas. Aseemanand along with 3 others was acquitted by a special National Investigation Agency court in a case regarding the explosion that killed 68 people in 2007.
