Watch | SP MLA’s kin dares cop to stop booth capturing in UP

In Uttar Pradesh a Zila panchayat member candidate challenged and threatened a senior cop on poll duty to reach a particular polling booth and dare prevent booth capturing. UP saw second phase of panchayat polls on Tuesday. Perhaps during the polling, the deputy superintendent of police of Jalesar Raghewendra Singh Chauhan pointed a code of conduct violation about Pushpendra Yadav's vehicles. Pushpendra Yadav is a nephew of an SP MLA and contested elections for Zila panchayat member. This is what appears from a phone call purportedly by Pushpendra to Raghewendra. This is third 'phone threat' incident in recent time. One involved an alleged threat call by SP chief Mulayam to an IPS officer in Lucknow and then another occurred when a distict president of a youth wing of SP had threatened a civil judge.
