Maduro dances on Christmas day, dismisses 'less important' Trump threat as US war looms?

Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro used a religiously themed Christmas message to frame his embattled country as a “David against Goliath,” saying that despite “threats,” the most important thing is the hope that Venezuela will get better each day. He urged Venezuelans to invoke the “spirit of David” and “the spirit of Moses,” and ultimately “our Lord Jesus, Jesus of Nazareth,” presenting the nation’s struggle as a biblical test for which God gives strength.
