Maduro shows off special phone gifted by Xi Jinping from which data 'can't be intercepted'| US, Trump

Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro praised relations with China and personally thanked President Xi Jinping for his “solidarity and support,” as well as for gifting him an un-interceptable Huawei smartphone, during a speech in Caracas on Monday. Maduro showcased the device, claiming it was a personal gift from Xi, and highlighted its security features, calling it “un-interceptable.” He also said China–Venezuela ties have “deepened and strengthened” across all sectors, even as tensions with the United States continue to escalate.
