Speaking at a joint press conference in Rome, both leaders cited legal concerns with the board’s current structure while expressing willingness to explore alternative cooperation formats with the United States. The initiative, inaugurated in Davos, aims to support peace efforts in Gaza and other global conflicts. Meloni also defended Trump against criticism and said she hopes he could one day receive the Nobel Peace Prize.
