2 Hizb-ul terrorists killed in encounter in Awantipora, J&K; arms recovered

Two Hizb-ul-Mujahideen terrorists were neutralised by security forces in an encounter in Jammu & Kashmir’s Awantipora district. According to officials, security forces had started a search operation in Khew in Parampore but the operation soon turned into an encounter after militants started firing at security forces. This is the third encounter in J&K in the last 7 days. On August 19, an army officer and a terrorist were killed in an encounter in Rajouri area. EAM Jaishankar had named terror groups active in India at a UNSC briefing on Thursday. Watch the full video for more details.
