‘A role model…:’ How Dalai Lama praised India as an example of religious harmony

Tibetan spiritual leader Dalai Lama has lauded India as a role model of religious harmony in the world. He was speaking at an event organised by the Sri Lankan Tibetan Buddhist Brotherhood Society which was attended by hundreds of Buddhist lamas from Indonesia, Malaysia, India, Myanmar, Sri Lanka and Thailand. He said: ‘In India different religious traditions of the world such as Islam, Christianity, Jew and Judaism and so forth live together.
