'Abduction, rape, conversion': India exposes Pakistan's exploitation of women

In a scathing speech at the United Nations Human Rights Council, India exposed Pakistan's deplorable treatment of religious minorities. Pawan Badhe, First Secretary in India's permanent mission to the UN, said that over 1,000 women from minority groups are forcibly converted in Pakistan every year. He also cited 'systemic persecution' via 'draconian blasphemy laws' and 'extrajudicial killings'. India was exercising its right of reply to Pakistan's statement at the interactive dialogue on the High Commission's annual report.
