Agra: Monkeys 'invade' Taj Mahal; Spanish tourist bitten, hospitalised | Details

A woman tourist from Spain was bitten by a monkey in front of the Royal Gate of the Taj Mahal. The tourist was attacked by the animal while she was taking photographs. The shocked tourist was provided first aid at the monument and was later taken for treatment to a private hospital. The rising number of monkey attacks at the monument on tourists has raised safety concerns. TaJ Mahal attracts lakhs of tourists from the country and abroad every year.
