BJP MLA arrested over Prophet insult after massive protest in Hyderabad

BJP MLA T Raja Singh arrested over derogatory comments against the Prophet. T Raja Singh was arrested hours after he repeated comments made by suspended BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma against Prophet Mohammad. Singh released a 10-minute video in which he made the alleged blasphemous remark. Taking a swipe at comedian Munawar Faruqui, whose show he unsuccessfully tried to disrupt, Singh said it was a "comedy" video just like Mr Faruqui's alleged videos on Hindu Gods.
