BJP’s Lok Sabha MP Ramesh Bidhuri has been heavily criticised for abusing a Muslim MP in Parliament. Ramesh Bidhuri hurled racist and communally charged slurs at BSP’s Danish Ali during a debate on India’s Chandrayaan success in Lok Sabha. Bidhuri was given a warning by Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh also apologised for his behaviour. The opposition, however, demanded Bidhuri’s suspension from Parliament.
