Boris Johnson's JCB photo op stirs row; Amnesty India slams UK PM

A day after Boris Johnson visited a JCB plant in Gujarat and posed with the bulldozer, Amnesty India slammed the UK Prime Minister, calling his move 'ignorant' and questioning his silence on Jahangirpuri demolitions. The criticism comes in the wake of BJP-run North Delhi Municipal Corporation's demolition drive in Jahangirpuri which has sparked outrage and political war. The civic body demolished what it called illegal structures in Jahangirpuri which saw clashes during Hanuman Jayanti procession on Saturday.
