British used secret tunnel to Red Fort was unearthed inside Delhi Assembly

A tunnel till the Red Fort was unearthed inside the Delhi Legislative Assembly. Speaker of the Delhi Assembly, Ram Niwas Goel claimed that the tunnel was used by the British to move freedom fighters from Red Fort to the assembly structure when it used as a court. It was Goel's curiosity due to which the tunnel was found. Goel said that the mouth of the tunnel has been found but further digging will be avoided as the passage of tunnel must have been destroyed due to sewage installations and metro projects.
