In a shocking incident reminding of what recently happened in Lakhimpur Kheri, a speeding car on Friday rammed a religious procession in Chhattisgarh's Jashpur leading to the death of one. 16 others have been injured. Block medical officer James Minj said one body was brought to the hospital, while 16 others received an injury in the incident. The incident occurred during Dussehra procession when devotees were heading to immerse idol of Goddess Durga. Police have arrested two accused who were in the car while local SHO has been attached and an ASI suspended. While BJP cornered Chhattisgarh government over the incident, Chief MInister Bhupesh Baghel promised of action against every person responsible. Watch this report for more.
