China to handover missing Arunachal teen soon; PLA contacted over hotline

Union minister Kiren Rijiju said Chinese Army has given positive indication over release of missing Arunachal teen. Miram Taron from Zido village went missing from near the Line of Actual Control on Jan 18 during a hunting trip. Sharing an update on the teen, Rijiju said the two sides exchanged a hotline on the occasion of Republic Day. Following Taron’s disappearance, BJP MP Tapir Gao tweeted alleging he was abducted by the PLA from the Indian side. The Indian Army immediately approached the Chinese side asking for assistance in tracing the individual. China’s PLA later confirmed that they had found a person on their side & requested more details to establish his identity. Watch the full video for more.
