‘Delhi is at your doorstep’: PM Modi’s mega development push in Assam

PM Modi inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of several projects in the poll bound state of Assam. He accused previous governments of neglecting the needs of the state and the North-East in general. ‘Those who ruled for decades since Independence believed Dispur was too distant from Delhi. Delhi is not far now, it stands at your doorstep,’ PM Modi said. He also lauded the work of the Sarbananda Sonowal led state government and said that they are working on the ideology of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’.
