Fear in South Kashmir area, massive sinkhole swallows stream | Nature's fury?

A popular freshwater stream has disappeared into a sinkhole, spreading fear in the South Kashmir area. The stream suddenly disappeared after being swallowed by the massive sinkhole in Kokernag region. Reports say Trout fishes have died in large numbers and the sinkhole has left the downstream part completely dry. Efforts are on to divert water while people have been asked not to venture near the brengi stream sinkhole. Experts have rubbished paranoia, underlining that sinkholes are a natural phenomenon.
