‘Gold medal in lying’: PM Modi on Rahul’s ‘north-south’ & ‘fisheries’ remark

Prime Minister Modi lashed out at Congress leader Rahul Gandhi over his recent remarks on difference of politics between the North & South & his promise to form a fisheries ministry once Congress comes to power. ‘Our colonial rulers had the policy of divide and rule. Congress has a policy of divide, lie and rule. Sometimes their leaders put region against region, community against community,’ PM Modi said. He added that he was shocked at Rahul Gandhi's statement that there was no 'dedicated' fisheries ministry at the Centre, adding the NDA government had set it up in 2019.
