Gurugram hit & run: accused car driver arrested in Rajasthan after video goes viral

The main accused in the Gurugram Golf Course Road biker crash, Kalyan Bainsla, was arrested in Rajasthan on September 15, hours after Gurugram Police added an attempt-to-murder charge to the case. The FIR was initially registered under Sections 125 and 281 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), relating to causing injury and rash driving. Police later invoked Section 109, the attempt-to-murder provision, after analysing CCTV footage of the incident.
