India abstains from UN vote against Iran's crackdown on anti-hijab protesters

India abstained from voting on a United Nations Human Rights Council resolution to set up a fact-finding mission to investigate the alleged Human Rights violation committed against protesters in Iran. India was one of 16 abstentions on the resolution, sponsored by Germany and the Netherlands. However, 25 nations voted in favour of the resolution. The UNHRC agreed to probe Iran's crackdown on anti-hijab protesters.
