India's big feat in Asia Pacific: IndiGo uses Made-In-India tech to land plane

IndiGo became the first airline in the country to land aircraft using indigenous navigation system GAGAN. The Airports Authority of India successfully conducted the light trial using an indigenous system. AAI tweeted: India is the first country in Asia Pacific Region to achieve this. The flight was conducted using an ATR-72 aircraft and landed at the Kishangarh airport in Rajasthan. GAGAN is jointly developed by the AAI and the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO).
