J&K: 2 Al-Badr terrorists shot dead; duo behind attacks on migrant workers

Two Al-Badr terrorists were killed in an overnight encounter with security forces in J&K’s Pulwama. They were identified as local terrorists namely Aijaz Hafiz & Shahid Ayub, of Al-Badr outfit. They were involved in attacks on migrant workers in Pulwama in the month of March-April 2022. A police official said that information was received about the presence of terrorists in the area. Security forces launched a cordon and search operation following the inputs. Search op turned into an encounter after the hiding terrorists fired upon the forces who retaliated.
